It’s true. There’s no stopping the 24-year-old 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist and 4-time World Cup Champion, or at least it appears that way looking at her training schedule this summer. Just three weeks ago she posted a YouTube video showing a lengthy list of her daily ski drills, workout routines, and diet.

21-year-old Anna Parsons is an outdoor enthusiast and was enjoying what she loves to do most on August 1, 2022. She had no idea what would happen that fateful day.

She just arrived in the U.S. two days earlier with her friend and classmate, Jack Evans. They were marine science students from New Zealand on their way to a foreign exchange program and stopped in Yosemite for a few days of climbing.

No Looking Back

Club Med is a vacation concept that undoubtedly conjures up images of sun, sand, and surf in an all-inclusive resort setting. That may be true and, in fact, it is. But how about going to Club Med for a ski vacation?

Be careful. Don’t blink. The Aspen real estate market is red hot again, at least according to a luxury hospitality management group, White Elephant Resorts (WER).

Historically, the Aspen real estate market has been a great investment, with the only true risk being on the sidelines. It has accumulated ridiculous gains in value. According to Jason Blevins, a journalist with the Colorado Sun, the returns were a better investment than the S&P 500 and most commodity markets over the last 30 or 40 years!

Reynold’s Rediscovery

Richard Reynolds, a retired U.S. Geological Survey researcher recently made an important discovery in Colorado’s Upper River Basin snowpack. It is concerning a subject Reynolds has been looking at for quite some time, co-authoring one article on the topic in 2015 titled, “Regional Variability in Dust-On-Snow Processes and Impacts in Upper Colorado River Basin” followed by another in 2020 titled, “Dust Deposited on Snow Cover in San Juan Mountains, Colorado, 2011-2016: Compositional Variability Bearing on Snow-Melt Effect.”
